WHY?

Why Serve Holbrook?

We all love our city.  We all have fond memories of past places and bygone days.  The same reason people love RTE 66 is the same reason we love Holbrook.  Some of us remember the old bus stops, the ice cream cones, community in our local Church, taking laps around town, the rodeo, 4th of July, the Christmas parades, the football and baseball games, playing at the rocket ship in the park.  We have loved our dinners at Joe & Aggies, Romos, El Rancho, the Mesa, Dairy Queen and A&W - and now we love Tom and Susies, and The Chameleon, and the Manchurian.  For a small town, there has been no bigger heart.  We have local heroes like Mike B and Raul Mendoza, we remember the Barnyard Nursery that Bob and Bobbie Slade ran, we all have plants from them from the past.  We have celebrated and cried together as people have come and gone.

Just like we care for our houses and our yards, we care for our city and for one another.   Serve Holbrook is just one more group of citizens coming together to keep Holbrook unique and special.
